Apple sends out gift boxes containing the AirPods Max to promote the “Scary fast” event،

Apple’s “Scary Fast” event happening Monday is a bit unusual because it will take place in the evening. The pre-recorded announcements will take place at 5 p.m. PDT, which means they will start at 8 p.m. EDT. We expect Apple to unveil M3-powered Macs, including the 24-inch iMac and MacBook Pro. The M3 is the latest iteration of Apple Silicon and although designed by Apple, it is manufactured by TSMC using its 3nm N3B process node.
To promote the event, Apple is sending gift boxes to certain influencers. The box includes a free AirPods Max over-ear headset (valued at $549) as well as “sweet and scary” snacks and drinks for the influencer to consume while watching the “Scary fast” event Monday evening. The name “Scary fast” not only refers to Halloween, which takes place on Tuesday, but also to the fast performance offered by the M3 SoC.
Although unlikely, Apple could use Monday evening’s event to introduce three new iPad models. The trio is rumored to debut on October 17 with a new third-generation Apple Pencil featuring USB-C charging support. It turned out that the new Apple Pencil was revealed, but not the new iPads. The three tablets include a new 11th generation base iPad model, an M2-powered iPad Air (the previous model had the M1 chip), and the seventh generation iPad mini with an A16 Bionic chipset inside .
Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman reported in his To light up weekly newsletter stating that these new iPads won’t be introduced until March and that they will all receive a “spec boost.” And the first iPads with an OLED display, the 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro (2024), will be announced at a separate event that takes place after the other three models go official in March.
