CHICAGO — The Chicago Bulls’ overtime victory over the Toronto Raptors was aided by two officiating errors, according to the NBA’s final two minutes report released Saturday.

DeMar DeRozan should have been called for a moving infraction with 6.3 seconds left in the fourth quarter, according to the report, an infraction that would have resulted in a turnover. Instead, DeRozan was fouled on the play by shooting a 3-point basket from Chris Boucher, sending DeRozan to the free throw line with a chance to tie the game.

The league also determined that Pascal Siakam should not have been whistled for an offensive foul with 3.4 seconds remaining after the Raptors entered the ball game. Although the report says Siakam and Bulls guard Alex Caruso come together on the inbounds pass, it says marginal contact occurs and Siakam immediately releases.

“Caruso is not dislodged from his defensive position following illegal contact from Siakam,” according to the report.

Chicago trailed by 17 points with five minutes remaining in the fourth quarter before mounting a furious comeback to push the game into overtime, where the Bulls earned their first victory of the season.
