Vote now: Which smartphone brand/series would you bring back?

Nowadays it’s mostly Samsung and Apple, but not too long ago we had a good variety of phone brands and series to choose from. Do you remember the days of Sony Ericsson? Nokia once dominated the top smartphone market, and if we look back a few years, we’ll find LG with all kinds of interesting devices. Then there is the case of BlackBerry, and let’s not forget HTC. The former suffered a slow, painful and agonizing demise, while the latter is still on life support, but for all intents and purposes we should consider him gone.

The Lumia series and the acquisition of Nokia by Microsoft constituted another turning point in the history of smartphones. Many people still remember these phones fondly, not only as pure hardware, but also as software and features.

Samsung has discontinued the Galaxy Note series and replaced it with the Ultra, but for many people, this new series is just a pale shadow of the original Note. Some of you may remember the Moto DROID line; at one point, it was THE premium series to get.
