Xiaomi 14 camera specs and official renders revealed ahead of announcement

Xiaomi has already confirmed that its new flagships will be presented on October 26. To build up the hype around the Xiaomi 14 series, the Chinese company has started releasing teasers on the Microblogging site Weibo.

The most recent article not only includes renders of the phone from different angles, but also in-depth details on the camera specifications. Even though the images are mostly meant to focus on the camera, it’s pretty clear that the design of the Xiaomi 14 resembles that of the iPhone.

This exquisite device will feature a cutting-edge 50-megapixel primary camera with a 1/1.31-inch sensor with large 1.2um pixels and an f/1.6 aperture. More importantly, the phone has been confirmed to include a Leica Summilux-branded lens, an upgrade over the previous model.

Xiaomi’s main camera has a “new image sensor brand”, which means we know for sure that it is not a Sony-made product since the previous model had the sensor IMX800 image.

Apart from these camera details, Xiaomi also confirmed that the standard model sports a 6.36-inch flat-edged display. We’re yet to learn any information about the other two cameras on the back of the phone, but we just have to wait one more day for everything to be revealed, so stay tuned for more .
