Apple to hold “Scary Fast” event October 30th; will we see updated iPads surface?،

Apple will indeed hold one more event before the end of the calendar year and since it will take place on October 30, the day before Halloween, Apple is calling it the “Scary Fast” event. While this appears to be a reference to M3-equipped Macs replacing the current M2-equipped lineup, those machines aren’t expected to hit the market until next year. Three updated iPad models are also not expected until the first quarter of 2024.
It could be a long shot, especially since Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman just wrote in his weekly newsletter on Sunday that the next upgraded iPads will appear next March, but if Apple includes iPad models with the event “Scary Fast” we might see an 11th update. Next-gen base iPad, an M2-powered iPad Air, and a new iPad mini with the 4nm A16 Bionic under the hood. Gurman said that the specifications of the three tablets will be increased when we see them announced by Apple.
However, it seems that Apple’s focus with this event is the Mac. The invitation includes an animation transforming the iconic Apple logo into the “Face” icon of the macOS Finder app. A week ago last Sunday, a rumor came out of nowhere suggesting that the trio of iPad models we just mentioned would be introduced with a new Apple Pencil on October 17th. The third-generation Apple Pencil supporting USB-C charging was all Apple showed off that day.
It’s interesting that a new event was announced so close to this rumor, which gives some hope to those waiting to purchase one of the three aforementioned iPads to be included in this upcoming event. Premium iPad Pro tablets with OLED displays are expected to welcome the day at a separate event next year. And as you may know, there is a crazy rumor going around that Apple is using backlit LCD screens on the 11-inch and 13-inch models.

The “Scary Fast” event will take place much later in the day than the typical Apple event, as it is scheduled to start at 5:00 p.m. PDT, or 8:00 p.m. EDT.
