OnePlus 12 BOE Display Confirmed Ahead of Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 Launch،
In a well-planned move, OnePlus 12 was introduced by OnePlus at the BOE conference in Beijing, China. The company offered a preview of the phone’s OLED screen technology and chipset, giving the public a glimpse of its new offering. OnePlus has timed it perfectly as Qualcomm is set to launch Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at the Snapdragon Summit in Hawaii. At the BOE conference, OnePlus showed off a few models of the OnePlus 12, but chose to hide the design of the device by displaying it in a protective case. The phone featured minimal bezels around its screen, with volume and power buttons located on the opposite side. On the front, the OnePlus 12 featured a perforated screen, consistent with its predecessors. The oriental screen and P1 display chip
As for the display, OnePlus is touting the OnePlus 12’s “oriental display,” featuring OPPO’s first-generation display chip, Display P1. Additionally, a high-precision pixel-level calibration algorithm promises improved image quality, higher brightness and lower power consumption. Notably, the flagship smartphone has achieved DisplayMate A+ certification and supports 2K resolution, although the precise screen size remains unknown. Speculation suggests that it could retain the 6.7-inch LTPO display seen in the OnePlus 11, as per leaked information.
The display boasts a peak brightness of 2,600 nits, slightly lower than the recently launched OnePlus Open, which offers 2,800 nits. Nonetheless, the OnePlus 12 outperforms recent flagship phones in India with its brighter display. OnePlus claims the display will also offer more than double the lifespan of conventional phone screens and provide the “most eye-protective” viewing experience.
