After months of leaks and rumors, Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has unveiled the Find N3 Flip, one of the most anticipated flip foldable phones in India. It has one of the best camera systems on a flip phone, a competent processor, and an LTPO main display. Here’s everything you need to know about the Oppo Find N3 Flip.
Oppo Find N3 Flip Design
The Oppo Find N3 Flip has a unique design that’s unlike anything we’ve seen on the market. The foldable clamshell features a horizontal bending hinge with a no-gap design. Oppo also claims that the crease is less noticeable than on other foldable phones.
The stainless steel core used to create the hinge has a 25% increased load-bearing strength. Oppo Find N3 Flip also has a TUV Rheinland Reliable Folding certification, which allows the phone to survive 600,000 folds.
When folded, users can use the rectangular cover screen on the front. Besides the screen, there is the circular camera module, which houses the three camera sensors. When unfolded, users get the power button (with an in-display fingerprint scanner) and the volume soars on the right spine.
On the left column, users also get an alert slider, which helps them switch between multiple ring modes. The smartphone weighs 198 grams and has IPX4 water resistance.
Oppo Find N3 Flip specifications
The Oppo Find N3 Flip has a 3.26-inch AMOLED display with a maximum brightness of 900 nits. Unfolding the phone reveals the 6.8-inch AMOLED display, which supports a variable refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. It supports 1,600 nits of peak brightness and has HDR10+ certification.
Under the hood, the foldable runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC, based on TSMC’s 4nm manufacturing technology. It is an octa-core processor with one core clocked at 3.05 GHz, three at 2.85 GHz, and four at 1.8 GHz. The processor is paired with a G-715 MC11 GPU, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage. Out of the box, the smartphone will run ColorOS 13.2, based on Android 13.
Users benefit from a triple rear camera with a 2x telephoto lens
It’s important to mention that the Oppo Find N3 Flip has the most versatile camera hardware on a flip-style flip phone. The rear panel of the foldable houses a triple camera setup (with Hasselblad branding), led by a 50 MP Sony IMX890 main sensor (f/1.8, 26mm), a 48 MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide sensor (f /2.2, 14 mm) and a 32 MP ultra-wide sensor. Sony IMX709 telephoto lens (f/2.0, 47mm) for 2x optical zoom. Although all sensors can record 4K video, the maximum frame rate is unclear at this time. Users get a 32MP (f/2.4, 21mm) sensor for clicking selfies.
As for battery life, users get a 4,300mAh battery on the foldable, which supports 44W SUPERVOOC wired charging and should provide an average screen time of around five to seven hours. Other features of the smartphone include dual speakers (with Dolby Atmos), dual SIM, NFC, Bluetooth v5.3 and support for the fastest wireless network on a smartphone i.e. Wi-Fi. Fi 7.

The Oppo Find N3 Flip will be available starting at Rs. 9,999. 94,999 (12GB + 256GB) starting October 22 at 6 PM IST, via Oppo Store, Flipkart and other retailers.
