Ahead of the Japan Mobility Show which begins on October 27, Toyota has unveiled its latest concept: the Land Cruiser Se. This revolutionary concept features an electrified iteration of Toyota’s beloved SUV, the Land Cruiser. The Land Cruiser Se, designed as a three-row electric crossover, offers a glimpse into Toyota’s future vision for the Land Cruiser range, promising exciting possibilities for the brand’s expansion in the years to come.

Although details of the concept remain limited, Toyota has offered a glimpse of its unique features through a series of digital renderings. These visual representations showcase the concept’s striking, angular and futuristic design. At the forefront, the SUV sports a fully enclosed grille, flanked by stylish headlights and a discreet “TOYOTA” badge.

Moving to the rear, the vehicle features pronounced fenders, sleek blacked-out pillars, and intricately styled bodywork. Additionally, distinct features include a distinctive greenhouse design, a seemingly “floating” roof, and a rounded rear end accented by a thin light bar.

Toyota has disclosed the critical dimensions of the Land Cruiser Se, revealing a substantial length of 5,150mm, with an impressive wheelbase of 3,050mm. Additionally, Toyota emphasizes that this concept will offer a high-torque battery-electric driving experience, suggesting a dual electric motor setup with its three-row layout. The company particularly highlights the impressive silence of the Land Cruiser, particularly in urban environments and “on the road”. This emphasis demonstrates a clear focus on urban and on-road performance, rather than venturing far from the traditional beaten path.
