Google Messages future update will reportedly make it easier to send photos

Google Messages recently underwent a redesign, but according to a new report, the company hasn’t finished the changes yet. Android Title Reports that Google Messages will have a camera icon on the home screen.

It will be even easier to send photos with Google Messages

Currently, to send a photo using Google Messages, you either need to go to the conversation and add it from the “Add” button, or take a photo from the Camera app, go to the conversation and select the image.

Although these methods are not that difficult initially, Google is thinking about how to make this even easier. Apparently, Google Messages will receive an update that will feature a new camera icon next to the search button. The camera icon will naturally open the Camera app. You’ll see Select Recipients appear when you’ve taken the photo, making it much easier to send.

However, this feature has not yet been rolled out and no public release date has been specified. Google is also reportedly currently working on redesigning the sharing screen so that it can open in full-screen mode and you can share items with your contacts more easily.
