WhatsApp rolling out new bottom navigation bar for comfy use

Arguably the most popular messaging app in the world, WhatsApp is constantly improving its apps to give users the best chat experience possible. That's why we expect new features and improvements every time WhatsApp rolls out an update.

The latest version of WhatsApp is no exception and even though it doesn't bring any revolutionary changes, the slight redesign will surely make many of the app's functions easier to access.

WhatsApp recently confirmed on Twitter that its mobile application now includes a new navigation bar. First, the navigation bar has been moved from the top of the app to the bottom. Second, it now has an additional tab: Updates.

Apart from that, the new navigation bar retains the same functionality as the previous one, while promising to offer a cleaner look and comfortable use. The new positioning will take a little getting used to, but the new navigation bar definitely looks nice to look at.

The latest WhatsApp update is rolling out in waves, so it might take a few more days for everyone to see the new navigation bar in the app.
