Bloomberg cites people familiar with the matter as saying that the long-awaited iPad Pro (2024) series, the first iPad with OLED panels, will be released along with the iPad Air (2024) in early May. This extends the April deadline for the tablet launch that was recently the subject of an article by the news agency's Mark Gurman. About a week and a half ago, Chinese publication It Home reported that the tablets would go on sale on March 26, but Gurman was adamant about an April release.

The iPad Pro (2024) will come with an 11-inch model and a 12.9-inch model and thanks to the use of an OLED display for the first time on any iPad, the price should be a lot higher. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro, with its new OLED display, will likely cause some serious sticker shock. But Apple has found a solution to this problem.
