One of the best T-Mobile perks is ending before it was supposed to،

T-Mobile had promised to add an additional 500MB of data to some of its Connect plans every year for five years as part of an annual data upgrade policy aimed at impressing regulators during its merger with Sprint. An internal document seen by The mobile report confirms that the $15/month plan, which previously offered 3.5 GB of data, will now offer 5 GB of data, while the $25 plan has increased from 6.5 GB to 8 GB.

Today's report provided some additional details that reveal that TMobile isn't exactly generous with this year's annual data upgrade.

This year's data allocation increase also includes the 2025 increase, meaning TMobile is free to end the annual data upgrade earlier than planned. That said, customers are still entitled to a bonus. TMobile allocated more data than it was obliged to.

In the leaked document, TMobile explicitly states that this year's update included the 2025 increase and that the carrier has no further increases planned.

For some reason, Nevada customers are getting a special $25 plan, which went from 8GB to 9GB.

In other prepaid news, TMobile allows customers to take two lines for just $75 per month. Not only is the price tempting, but TMobile has also waived the DCC (Device Connection Charge) fee.

However, not all recent announcements have been pleasant. The company will impose new fees on customers who go to a physical location to top up their prepaid balance. This $5 payment assistance fee will take effect on April 25 and is intended to encourage customers to make payments online.
