Samsung Galaxy S24 now getting April 2024 update with camera improvements

Samsung Galaxy S24 has been tipped to receive significant camera improvements with the April 2024 security update. Although it's still March, Samsung is currently rolling out the April 2024 security patch to the Galaxy S24 series.

According to an article on the Samsung Community Forum (via SamMobile), the update also includes some of the camera improvements announced earlier this month. Here are all the improvements expected in the April 2024 update in addition to the usual bug fixes and fixes:

• The accuracy of the camera's white balance and exposure.
• Image quality in low light.
• Color accuracy in the ExpertRAW camera app.
• Clarity of text in high zoom photos.
• Support videos with resolution of 480 × 480 pixels in Instant Slow Mo function.

Currently updating with firmware version S92xNKSU1AXCA is only available in South Korea, but Samsung will likely expand its rollout to more countries in just a few days. The update weighs almost 800 MB, so it's quite heavy for a monthly security update. For the most part, the camera improvements included in the April 2024 security patch address some of the issues many Galaxy S24 users have reported. Actual camera improvements will likely arrive in future updates.
