OnePlus Nord CE 4 prepares to be a charging champion in its category

As OnePlus prepares for the launch of its next Nord-branded smartphone, scheduled for April 1, the company continues to give out information about the upcoming device. A recent teaser suggested that the Nord CE 4 would boast the fastest charging capability of any Nord to date. Today, additional details have emerged, revealing how quickly it charges as well as its screen refresh rate. OnePlus India (via Android Center), the Nord CE 4 will feature 100W charging, earning it the title of fastest charging model to date. The company promises “the power of a day in 15 minutes” recharge.

In terms of display, OnePlus has also shared more details. The upcoming smartphone is expected to sport an AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a silky-smooth 120Hz screen refresh rate.

Although the exact screen size is not yet disclosed, it is expected to be around 6.7 inches, similar to its predecessor. With these specifications, the Nord CE4 seems to be aiming for a strong position in the mid-range market.

Rumor has it that the Nord CE 4 could be a revamped version of the Ace 3V, which recently debuted in China. However, there may be some differences between them, such as display specifications. Unlike the Ace 3V's 2772 x 1240 pixel resolution, the Nord CE 4 has an FHD+ display (a common FHD+ resolution is 2220 x 1080 pixels), signaling a slight downgrade.

Additionally, at least one version of the Nord CE 4 is expected to feature 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, with the option to expand via microSD card up to 1TB.
