WhatsApp will reportedly let you use Meta AI straight from its search bar،

Artificial intelligence (AI) is everywhere these days, and we'd be naive not to admit that it's transforming the way we use our devices every day. Meta is a company that has been at the forefront of integrating AI into its platforms, and users of WhatsApp, Messenger, and Instagram in the United States are already getting a taste of what it can do TO DO. But soon, interaction with Meta AI could become even smoother. WABetaInfo, Meta is working on a new feature for WhatsApp that lets you ask Meta AI questions directly from the app's search bar. This means there will no longer be a need to manually start separate AI chats.

We can see a new prompt saying “Ask Meta AI” below the search bar in the above screenshot from WABetaInfo. This prompt would eliminate extra steps, make interacting with the AI incredibly more convenient, and wouldn't require that unsightly Meta AI shortcut that got in the way of accessing your messages. In fact, if you've used ChatGPT before, Meta AI will look familiar, as it's designed as a complete assistant. However, one of the benefits of this chatbot is that instead of having to search for it, you will simply type your question into the search bar. WhatsApp even provides suggested prompts to get your AI creativity flowing.

This feature is still under development and will likely appear in a future version of the app. In the meantime, WhatsApp shows us that it is clearly banking on AI, as it is also reportedly working on implementing AI-based image editing tools into its platform.

WhatsApp's new features are a glimpse of a future where AI will be deeply ingrained in our everyday applications. This is probably just the beginning, and I can't wait to see what other innovations Meta and other tech giants have in store for us.
