iQOO 12 spotted in the wild; colorways leaked

In the world of leaks, wild shots and subway spy shots have always helped pique the curiosity of smartphone enthusiasts. Luckily, we just got our hands on such a sighting on the subway. Dubbed the upcoming iQOO 12, the phone appeared in this real-life photo with a giant square camera bump on the back with a distinct metallic texture on the frame.

The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will be unveiled in the Chinese market on November 7 and yet, they have been spotted in the wild. The phone looks great with its giant square camera bump which is a good size, not too much like the OnePlus Open or Oppo Find N3, but not too small either.

A frame with a metallic texture gives the iOQO 12 a distinctive look paired with a glass back and that’s pretty much what we can make of the photo. There is a white glass, black, and red vegan leather option available with the iQOO 12, according to the most leaked digital chat station.

The camera island we discussed above likely houses a primary 50MP OmniVision OV50H sensor with OIS; a 64MP telephoto camera with OmniVision OV64B sensor and OIS; and finally, a 50 MP ultra-wide Samsung JN1 sensor to complement its triple rear camera setup.

The next set of leaks includes 2K resolution with 144Hz refresh rate, 144Hz refresh rate, and a 4,880mAh battery backed by 120W fast charging technology. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is expected to powering the device which itself launches later next week, in time for the iQOO 12 release scheduled for November 7 in China.
