Call Of Duty: Warzone Mobile Launched On Android And iOS: New Features, Maps, Events, And Minimum Requirements،
After months of waiting, Call of Duty: Warzone is now available on Android and iOS devices in India. The Battle Royale video game brings the fast-paced action of PC gaming to smartphones, allowing a wider audience to experience it. Players have already downloaded it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. With two main maps, one of which has a capacity of 120 players, COD Warzone Mobile brings shared progression, multiple game modes and new in-game events.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile – Maps
Activision's latest smartphone release includes two main maps, Verdanks and Rebirth Island. While Battle Royale (120 players) and Mobile Royale (78 players) generate players in Verdansk, Rebirth Resurgence groups players into nine teams of four players each. Other maps included in the game are Scrapyard, Shoot House, and Shipment.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile – New Features
The video game's best feature appears to be cross-progression, which allows users to link their progress, including experience points, weapons, blueprints, skins, and Battle Pass tiers, across Call of Duty: Warzone across multiple platforms including PC, console, and mobile. The feature also allows users to sync their progress between Warzone and other COD titles, such as Modern Warfare III.
The mobile adaptation of a PC game offers controls similar to those players have already encountered in Call of Duty: Mobile. The game also allows users to choose from minimum, low, medium, high, and maximum graphics settings. Although the frame rate is capped at 60fps, flagship smartphones capable of higher frame rates also have the option to toggle for a smoother experience. Warzone Mobile also allows for custom loadouts and weapon upgrades.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile – Events
To kick off the game on a more positive note and create hype around it, Warzone Mobile will kick off with the Operation: Day Zero event on March 22, 2024. The event will give players a chance to win several rewards. The event consists of six contested zones, five for Verdasnk and one encompassing Rebirth Island. Players who complete specific event actions in the corresponding zones will receive event points. Actions include:
- Opening a box of supplies.
- Eliminate an enemy player.
- Complete a contract.
- Use a kill streak.
- Take off a helmet.
- Buy items at stations.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile – Minimum System Requirements
On Android smartphones, Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile requires at least 4 GB of RAM and an Adreno 618 GPU or higher. Additionally, the game requires users to download around 8 GB of data. While the Play Store initially downloads a 1.5 GB configuration, in-game downloads take up more space.
For iPhone users, the video game is available on devices that support iOS 16 or later (which leaves the iPhone 8 out of the question). The device must have 3 GB of RAM or more. While the game file downloaded in advance from the App Store takes up 3.93 GB of space, additional downloads can take up an additional 7 GB of storage on the iPhone.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile – How to download?
First, interested players should make sure they have at least eight to 10 GB of free storage on their smartphone. Once this prerequisite is met, Android users should head to the Play Store and iOS users should head to the App Store. There they need to search for Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile and search for the official app. Once users locate the app, they need to click on the install or download button. It may take several minutes to install the game, depending on download speed. Once the installer file is installed, the game will also download additional files.
