Liverpool appoint new sporting director in post-Klopp shake-up،
Liverpool announced the appointment of Richard Hughes as their new sporting director on Wednesday, with Bournemouth's technical director taking up the role at the end of this season.
Hughes' arrival at the club follows the arrival of Michael Edwards at Fenway Sports Group (FSG), Liverpool's American owner, in a new role as football CEO as the holding company seeks to become a multi-model clubs.

Edwards added: “I am delighted that Richard has agreed to join us in this vitally important role.
“I have known him for half my life professionally and personally and he is absolutely someone who embodies the best values of Liverpool FC. I trust him completely.”
Hughes and Edwards will be tasked with continuing Liverpool's recent success following Klopp's imminent departure, with the German manager announcing in January his decision to leave the Merseyside club at the end of the season after almost nine years at the club.
