England scrum-half Danny Care undecided on international future،

England scrum-half Danny Care will assess his international future in the coming days but is yet to call time on his Test career.

Care, 37, won his 101st cap against France on Saturday as England finished the Six Nations with three wins from five. He featured in all five matches for Steve Borthwick's side, starting against Scotland and coming off the bench in their wins over Italy, Wales and Ireland, as well as their heartbreaking defeat 33-31 against France in Lyon on Saturday.

England will play one Test against Japan and two in New Zealand this summer, but Care is yet to announce whether he will continue to make himself available for selection.

When asked if this was a case of 101 and above, Care responded, “I'm still not out at this time. I'm going to go home and assess and talk to the family. I haven't made any big decisions yet.

“What I did was I loved being part of this team. I really did. Last year, but particularly the last seven weeks, during the Six Nations, were certain to my favorite moments in an England jersey. I've never been so proud to wear an England jersey.”

Care's international career dates back to 2008, when he made his debut against New Zealand and earned 100 caps in England's memorable victory over Ireland at Twickenham on matchday four of the championship this year.

“If it had all ended a few years ago, it would have been a little lame, a little lame, so I'm thrilled with how last year went,” Care said.

“I owe Steve [Borthwick] and the coaching staff for giving me another opportunity to do what I love to do best.

“I've had a great time and this team is going to go in one direction, I'm sure of it. Whether I'm a part of it or not, I'll be the happiest person to be a part of it or watching it.”

And Saturday's match could well be the last time England fans see Manu Tuilagi in the famous white jersey. He has been linked with a move abroad at the end of the season, in a move that would make him unavailable for Test selection.

“I don't know what Manu has planned for next season but if so [off] so it's a sad day because if Manu Tuilagi is in your team then people are excited and I've always been excited to play with him,” Care said of Tuilagi.

“I hate playing against him, I love playing with him. I don't know if he said anything yet, but if he did, what a legend he was.”
