Bucks’ Khris Middleton (ankle) expects to return vs. Suns

Milwaukee Bucks power forward Khris Middleton said he expects to return for Sunday afternoon's game against the Phoenix Suns after missing more than a month with a sprained left ankle. .

Middleton confirmed the plan to reporters after the Bucks' practice Saturday.

The former All-Star has been out since suffering a sprain in a Feb. 6 game against the Suns. He has missed 24 games this season.

The Bucks head into Sunday's game in a battle against the Cleveland Cavaliers for the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Middleton, 32, has been productive in his minutes this season, averaging nearly 15 points and 5 assists in 26.3 minutes while shooting 48.7% from the field.
