Motorola may have scheduled the official launch event of its next Android flagship،

Just days after unveiling two very exciting and budget-friendly new phones, one of the mobile industry's most prolific players is already setting the stage for its next big product launch. This could well be a much bigger deal than the Moto G 5G (2024) and Moto G Power 5G (2024), although we're only speculating here.

Our main theory is that the company will unveil the recently leaked Edge 50 Pro flagship on April 3 in New Delhi, which Motorola doesn't seem very keen to confirm or debunk yet. Technically, the announcement event itself is not properly confirmed on the usual channels, with “save the dates” instead of being sent to select media before “more details and formal invitations”.
These should follow “soon”, and we hope that Motorola will be willing to put aside at least a small part of the current mystery surrounding the star(s) of the April 3 Indian show. For now, all we know is that everything that's coming is aimed at creating a “fusion of art and intelligence,” which doesn't tell us much.
Of course, “fusion” could well refer to the brand of an upcoming smartphone, but the Motorola Edge 30 Fusion from 2022 didn't get a sequel in 2023, which makes us doubt that a 2024 Edge 50 Fusion will be in preparation here.

Interestingly, the Edge 50 Pro renders leaked last week listed a date of April 3, which appears to be little more than an innocent coincidence. Again, April 3 falls on a Wednesday this year even though the product descriptions list the date as a Tuesday, which was probably an error.

Overall, we're pretty confident predicting that the top-of-the-line “international” Motorola Edge 50 Pro will arrive next month, followed by a US-centric Edge+ (2024) rebrand shortly after. The Edge 40 Pro, in case you were wondering, was initially revealed on April 4 of last year before rolling out to the US in early May.
Undoubtedly powered by a cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, the Edge 50 Pro/Edge Plus (2024) is also expected to come with a 6.7-inch curved display, 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage, a reasonably large space. 4,500mAh battery with incredibly fast 125W charging support and dual 50MP cameras joined by a third 12MP rear-facing shooter.
