iPad Air (2024): What’s in the box?،
Apple is preparing to launch a new generation of iPad Air in 2024, and rumor has it that this year we will also get a larger 12.9-inch iPad Air Plus, in addition to the standard 11-inch model.
The question we ask here is what will be the unboxing experience of this new generation of the iPad Air series. Do we expect anything new with the larger Plus model? This is exactly what we are here to answer!

What's in the iPad Air (2024) box?
- iPad Air/iPad Air Plus
- USB‑C charging cable (1 meter)
- 20W USB-C power adapter
- Apple stickers
The only difference between the contents of the smaller 11-inch iPad Air and the larger 12.9-inch (2024) will likely just be the iPad itself. Given the larger size of the iPad Air Plus, we expect its body to be wider and taller than that of the standard model.
What is this NOT in the iPad Air (2024) box?
- Screen Protector
- A fast charger
- A case
- Apple's Magic Keyboard
- Apple's Magic Pencil
Apple doesn't include anything more than a charging cable and charger with its tablets, so we don't expect to see anything different with the 2024 edition of the iPad Air. Of course, there is always a small chance for an unexpected surprise, but in this case the chances are almost non-existent.
Will iPad Air (2024) work with the iPad Air (2022) charging brick?
In short: it is willso you no need to buy one in advance.
Tablet batteries have a much larger capacity than phone batteries, however, so a 20W charger (what Apple includes in the box) may seem a bit weak and therefore slow to charge. If you have a faster USB-C charger, such as 30W, it will be able to charge the iPad Air/Plus (2024) noticeably faster.
That being said, the charger that Apple includes with its iPad Pro series is typically a 20W charger, which is a bit slow for charging a tablet's large battery. If you have a faster charger for your MacBook, for example, it will not only be compatible with your iPad Pro, but it will also charge it much faster.
