A four-month-old post on the Pixel Phone help page has revealed a temporary fix. “So far my temporary solution is to turn off the screen via the power button and then turn it back on. This usually fixes the problem, but it always comes back, sometimes within 30 seconds.” This is not exactly the kind of solution that Pixel folding users want to hear about it.
Sticky scrolling is an issue that has impacted Pixel folding users for months. Before this becomes a problem, Google and the Pixel folding cannot return, it is up to the company to empty the Mountain View offices, turn off all internal phones and work around the clock until this problem is resolved. Once a solution is ready, Google will have to immediately share it with Google Fold users (who paid $1,799 and up for the device).
