Apple starts disseminating a special build of iOS 18 on a controlled basis،

Would you be surprised if I told you that Apple has started shipping iOS 18 to a few people? After all, the next version of Apple's smartphone operating system isn't expected to be revealed until next June, when Apple holds its annual WWDC developer conference. At that point, we should learn about all the glorious new AI features that are debuting on iOS 18. After the introduction in June, Apple will offer the beta version of iOS 18 to iPhone users who don't mind playing around with battery life and important features they need to get work done.
Then, in September, when the new iPhone 16 series is released, Apple will officially launch iOS 18. So when I write that Apple sends iOS 18 to a few people right now, am I crazy? Um, better not answer that, please. In fact, according to MacRumorsinternal versions of iOS 18 are in fact delivered to factories and suppliers who have something to do with the production of the iPhone, possibly as a supplier.

This information comes from a private account on “X” which has a clear history of revealing Apple's future plans. The version of iOS 18 which is currently shipping is known as “VendorUI” and access to it would be strictly controlled. Apple sends a “VendorUI” version of the next version of iOS to factories every year for quality control.

The reason access to this version of iOS is so heavily monitored is because it may include references to new features, new settings, and any rebranding. The “VendorUI” version of iOS comes with some missing apps and only includes apps needed for testing.

Apple should give iOS 18 a strong dose of AI. There will be new AI-powered accessibility features, including voice shortcuts that would allow a user to use their voice to open certain accessibility features such as VoiceOver, Voice Control and others.

Each version of iOS has different versions with the Release version that consumers receive every September. THE Internal user interface The version is created for Apple software engineers with new and unexpected features. This release usually features a pre-production variant of the iOS UI. ProviderUI is the currently released version and it may contain some pre-production UI elements, although it is designed for quality control testing in factories.

As you might assume, Non-UI does not come with the standard iOS user interface and is designed for hardware engineers and calibration machines. Finally, LLDiags has no user interface except for a small diagnostics menu and this version is used for low-level diagnostics.
