Nothing Phone (2a)’s first update brings camera and performance improvements،
Nothing Phone (2a) seems like a pretty good deal if you're looking for a mid-range smartphone. Unfortunately, Nothing has decided not to release the phone to the US market because apparently it's not the “right time to go all in” (via AndroidCentral).
That being said, there is a way to get your hands on a Nothing Phone (2a) even if you live in the United States. Simply register as a developer on the company's official website and you will be able to purchase one.
Those who have already purchased one will be happy to know that the first Nothing Phone (2a) is now rolling out worldwide. The rather young Chinese company announcement Earlier this week, Nothing OS 2.5.3 update for Phone (2a) was now available for download.
The changes include several camera and performance improvements, as well as a few new widgets:
Camera improvements
- New support for Ultra XDR
- Improved camera app performance
- Several improvements in HDR, color saturation and clarity of the front camera
Performance
- Improved background app performance
- Improved touchscreen experience
- Added haptic level adjustment
- Overall UI and animation improvements
New widgets
Keep in mind that the update is rolling out in stages, so it may take a few days to reach all Nothing Phone (2a) owners.
