WhatsApp might allow users to pin several chats

WhatsApp allows users to pin up to three chats for a certain period of time, but the social enterprise is working on a new feature that will further increase the number of chats users can pin to the top of the app.

The latest WhatsApp for Android beta proves that such a feature could be coming very soon. Discovered by WABetaInfoThe new feature allows users to pin up to five chats, a slight improvement over the current stable version of WhatsApp.

Obviously, as this feature is currently in testing, we cannot really say whether or not it will be deployed in this state. This means that by the time WhatsApp finishes testing this feature, we may have the ability to pin many more than five chats, as shown in the screenshot below.

In any case, if you are someone who likes to communicate with a lot of people, the ability to pin more than three chats will definitely come in handy.

It remains to be seen when WhatsApp decides to make this available to everyone, as for now only a limited number of users enrolled in the beta program have been able to access it.
