Vivo X100s Could Feature The MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC: Tipster،

Earlier this year, Chinese smartphone maker and consumer electronics giant Vivo launched the X100 and X100 Pro (review) in India, two flagship smartphones offering top-tier specifications including a powerful processor, beastly cameras and a long-lasting battery. While these phones were released in the company's native market in November 2023, they arrived in India in January. Now, the company seems to be gearing up to launch the Vivo X100S, yet another flagship with high-end specifications. A reliable tipster recently revealed information about the alleged smartphone.

Vivo X100s: screen, processor and battery details leaked

According to Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the Vivo X100 will have a 1.5K display, similar to its predecessor, which has a 6.78-inch screen. Under the hood, the smartphone could feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC (4 nm), which competes with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC (4 nm). This is the same processor found in the company's Vivo X100, which arrived earlier this year.

The tipster also provides an overview of the Vivo X100 battery. Previously, the handset's battery was rated at 5,000mAh. Now, the tipster has claimed that it will support 100W wired charging, which is fast enough but not enough to beat the Vivo X100's 120W wired charging. The proposed smartphone would be available in four finishes including Titanium, Green, Black and White.

Previously, the phone was expected to feature the Dimensity 9300+ SoC

Dimensity 9300 SoC will be faster than Snapdragon

The same tipster claimed that the Vivo X100s could come with the SOC Dimensity 9300+. This could be a slightly overclocked version of the standard Dimensity 9300 SoC, coming with one 3.25 GHz main core, three 2.85 GHz performance cores, and four 2.0 GHz efficiency cores. Since last year's Vivo 90s ran on the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ SoC, the Dimensity 9300+ SoC makes more sense for the upcoming Vivo X100s. However, we cannot confirm which chipset the smartphone will come with.

This month, Vivo is set to launch the Vivo X Fold 3 (first foldable with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC) and Vivo Pad 3 in its home market. So there is a good chance that the company will also unveil the Vivo X100s along with these devices. However, readers should note that the company has neither confirmed nor announced any of these details.
