The next big OnePlus Nord phone is launching on April 1 (no joke) following March 14 ‘reveal’،
OnePlus is back, as confirmed on both the official website of the company And social media channels, preparing for the launch of another Nord-branded smartphone that seems “entirely” focused on power… and probably also on affordability. The Nord CE 4 is scheduled to launch on April 1st at 6:30 p.m., which is certainly an original choice for what can be assumed to be a very serious event.
It's 6:30 p.m. Indian time, which makes it very clear what the key global market this device will target will be. This doesn't necessarily mean the OnePlus Nord CE 4 is an India-exclusive device, but while availability in Europe is a possibility, we really don't expect the next-gen mid-ranger to ever come in the USA.
As the name suggests, this device is expected to follow in the footsteps of the Nord CE 3 5G, which continues to sell for the rough equivalent of $300 and up in India without being officially available in the
United States. The Nord CE 4 is already confirmed to feature an all-new Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, undoubtedly improving the overall performance of its Snapdragon 782-powered predecessor.
The Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 is currently found in a number of excellent high-end phones from companies like Honor or
Vivo, which makes us trust OnePlus when it promises that the Nord CE 4 will be a capable “smooth operator” to strike an impressive balance between “fast performance” and solid battery life.
Battery capacity is just one of many important things about the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 4 that are still under wraps, and if you're curious to find out before April 1, you should pay close attention to the website Indian company and PhoneArena. on March 14.
This is apparently when more details will be officially “revealed” to go along with the current confirmation of the processor and the rear panel design which OnePlus says “exudes elegance and quality.” What we can say about it is that it's certainly different from the Nord CE 3's back cover, with three imaging sensors instead of just two and a very interesting marbled texture from top to bottom.
Rumor has it that the Nord CE 4 will come with a 50 MP primary shooter, a large 120 Hz capable display measuring around 6.7 inches diagonally, and 80W super-fast charging support (among other things), but alas, you will have to wait at least a few more days for all of this (and more) to come to fruition (or not).
