Helmut Marko pledges future to Red Bull after CEO talks،

Helmut Marko has calmed some of the escalating drama at Red Bull, pledging his future to the team after talks with the company's chief executive Oliver Mintzlaff.

Marko has been the subject of an internal investigation by Red Bull GmbH relating to the ongoing saga regarding the Christian Horner misconduct investigation.

The prospect of his departure from the company raises questions over Max Verstappen's future at the team, with the reigning world champion having pledged his loyalty to the Austrian after taking pole at the Grand Prix of Saudi Arabia Friday evening.

However, after speaking with Mintzlaff, Marko seemed to calm the situation down.

“We agreed on all points,” Marko told Sky Germany. “I'm going to continue here. My contract still has three years to run.”

Marko was instrumental in Verstappen's signing to Red Bull, and the Dutch driver has made his loyalty clear.

“It was very impressive,” Marko said of Verstappen's comments. “I am very grateful to him. But he is one of the few who has strength of character and loyalty.”

Marko also said “calm must return” to the fractured Red Bull camp.

Despite the controversy surrounding the team, Verstappen appears to be a comfortable favorite for a fourth consecutive championship this year.
