- 8GB RAM + 128GB storage-Rs. 20,999
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs. 999.21,999

Realme 12+ 5G: Design and construction
The first impression a user gets from a smartphone is largely influenced by its design. Although most devices may look similar from the front, it's the back panel that really draws attention. The Realme 12+ 5G excels in this aspect, with a vegan leather finish on the back and a design reminiscent of the previously released Pro Models. I had the opportunity to try out the pioneer green variant, and it exuded a premium feel from the moment I held it in my hand. The back features a large circular camera island and the vegan leather finish ensures that it remains free of dirt and stains. Weighing less than 200 grams, the phone is comfortable to hold for long periods of time. Its flat, glossy frame further enhances the overall aesthetic of the device.
Realme 12+ 5G: Display
The Realme 12+ 5G features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with 100% P3 color gamut and claims to have maximum brightness levels of 2 000 nits. While the bezels aren't as thin as the Pro models, they're still a decent size. The screen offers bright and clear visuals and is visible under sunlight in outdoor conditions. Color accuracy and contrast ratio are impressive, and Widevine L1 certification ensures streaming Full HD content on Netflix and other OTT platforms.

Realme 12+ 5G: Hardware and software
The Realme 12+ 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset manufactured using a 6nm TSMC process. Paired with a Mali G68 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage, the device delivers efficient performance. I tested the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and found the chipset to be fast in handling daily tasks. It smoothly ran around 15-18 apps simultaneously, without any stutters or lags when switching between them.
I also played COD for 20 minutes on the device and noticed that it did not heat up during the gaming session. More details on the gaming performance will be covered in the review.
The Realme 12 Plus 5G comes with Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 out of the box. Although it contains some bloatware, users can uninstall them based on their preferences. The user interface offers a clean look with a variety of customization options. I haven't explored features like File Dock yet, so stay tuned for more information on that.

Real me 12+ 5G: camera Material
The Realme 12+ 5G features a triple camera setup at the back, consisting of a 50MP Sony LYT-600 sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP portrait sensor . On the front, there is a 16MP selfie camera. Images captured in daylight are vibrant, sharp and full of detail. However, portrait mode doesn't seem very effective. I'm currently testing the camera in various lighting conditions and will provide an updated review once I've spent more time with the device. A nice feature that I liked is the watermark option, which also displays a color palette based on the photo.
Realme 12+ 5G: Battery life and charging
Realme 12+ 5G has a slim design and yet packs a 5,000mAh battery under the hood. The battery easily lasts a full day from morning to night with moderate use. Realme has provided a 67W fast charging adapter that charges the device from 0 to 100% in 40 minutes, which is decent.
Conclusion
Realme 12+ 5G makes a strong initial impact with its sleek design, vibrant display and fast performance, while delivering impressive battery life. With a price tag under $25,000, it seems like a solid, budget-friendly option. Although the camera and performance are still being tested, the Sony LYT600 main sensor is already showing promise in improving photography.
