Rumors have been popping up online in recent months regarding Apple's new iteration of iPad. It looks like this year we won't have a March event, but Apple is rumored to release the new iPads with a press release. Of course, we don't know when yet.
We hear that a new iPad Air (2024) will be one of the devices to be announced soon. And this year we might also get a bigger one (rumors say we'll have a 10.9-inch model and a new 12.9-inch option)! If this motivates you, you might consider buying one when it launches. In this article, we will discuss the colors in which the new iPad Air will be available. So far, no leaks have detailed them, so we'll walk you through what's possible (or what you can probably expect). Of course, the information here is not yet confirmed, so take it with a grain of salt.
iPad Air Colors: What to Expect
The previous iPad Air, released in 2022, was available in four fresh and youthful colors. In keeping with the Air's marketing strategy of being a cool, lightweight iPad, we're also expecting a similar light color scheme this year. The 2022 iPad Air 5 comes in Space Gray, Blue, Pink, Purple, and Starlight. All these colors were clear and pleasant to look at. Now Apple can keep some of them and add new ones with the new iteration. Additionally, they can become either more dynamic to match the iPad of 2023 or more subdued to match the iPhone 15. Let's discuss that a little more.

One thing we're pretty sure of is the Space Gray option. This is a fairly standard and classic option for Apple equipment. The color is a medium gray color that can appear light or dark depending on the lighting situation you are in.
The space gray color option is ideal for you if you want your iPad Air to look more professional, or if you're one of those who doesn't really care about color and will put a case on it anyway.

Another fairly typical Apple color that may make its appearance this year is Starlight. It's a lovely light color, almost like white, but more of a warmer shade. This light color looks great on an iPad and is one of those colors you probably won't get tired of because it's quite subdued.

It's also quite possible that Apple will offer the iPad Air 2024 in a pink or purple hue (or likely both, just like its predecessor). Pinks and purples on an iPad bring a fresh, spring-like look to your device. These two colors are ideal if you want a softer looking iPad.

Some form of blue tint has also been present on Apple devices for some time. So it's possible that blue will also be an option for this iteration of the iPad Air. You can probably expect a light, subdued blue color.
iPad Air 2024 colors: What about new color options?
Of course, it is always possible that Apple will surprise us, and the Cupertino giant may decide to launch the new iPad Air in completely new colors. We don't have any leaks on this, so it's quite difficult to speculate on what it might be, but that's what's exciting about the new announcements anyway: the unknown.
