IND 135/1 (30.0 ov, Rohit Sharma 52*, Shubman Gill 26*, Tom Hartley 0/46) – Stumps – India vs England 5th Test Match Live Score, Summary،
4:58 p.m.: Does anyone feel like England has a mountain to climb? A below average effort with the bat, and a hard yakka forward with the ball, by the looks of it. Kuldeep Yadav's five for and four for R Ashwin in his 100th Test saw England veer off course after a good start; India then compounded their pain with the series-opening stand in the first century. Yashasvi Jaiswal passed 1,000 Test runs, second only to Vinod Kambli in innings taken, but then had to leave after being stumped – but there was little else to encourage the visitors. Andrew Miller has wrapped up the live blog and is putting the finishing touches on his report, and we'll have more from Karthik and Vish in the field. From me and Sid, it's cheerio for now. We start again tomorrow. Bye!
Hartley to Shubman Gill, no run, beat the bat, Foakes removes the bails. But it's much ado about nothing – strains are called with India in the book seats by the Dhauladhars
