Xiaomi 14 Ultra is finally making it to India at INR 99,999،

It turns out that Xiaomi's most awaited flagship phone, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, has reached Indian shores. Perhaps one of the closely watched launches of the year, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be sold in India starting April 12 for INR 99,999, making it the most expensive Xiaomi smartphone to launch in the country .

As you may have realized, you will have to wait a month before the Ultra Edition officially hits Indian shores. It will be available through Xiaomi MI Home with a single variant of 16GB + 512GB at INR 99,999/-. There is also a reserve edition coming three days before its general launch which will take place on April 8 where you can pre-book after paying a token of INR 9,999/-.

A true flagship product at the top of smartphone imaging thanks to its partnership with Leica. The last Ultra we saw in India was in 2021, when the Xiaomi 11 Ultra arrived in India, co-powered by Leica.

Talking about the specifications of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, the phone uses a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED panel with a peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits. There is a variable refresh rate of 120Hz and Dolby Vision support. The phone uses a cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. There is also HyperOS running Android 14 which runs the software.

Regarding optics, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra uses a quad-camera setup. It features a 1-inch 50MP Sony LYT-900 sensor with variable aperture and OIS. The second is a 50 MP Sony IMX898 telephoto lens with 3.2x optical zoom; a 50 MP Sony IMX898 periscope telephoto lens with a 120 mm focal length and 5x optical zoom. Finally, the phone uses a fourth 50 MP SOny IMX898 ultra-wide camera. Overall, the phone is capable of shooting videos at a maximum speed of 8K at 24fps. Finally, the phone uses a 32MP selfie shooter with an f/2.0 aperture.
