Elon Musk’s ‘Sure’ fuels anticipation for Tesla app for Apple Watch،
It's no secret that Elon Musk loves dropping hints about his companies' future plans on social platforms, and he's not one to hesitate to hit the like button in response to his publications. And true to form, he recently did it again, elsewhere than on his own platform X (formerly known as Twitter). According to 9to5Mac, Tesla owners may soon find themselves controlling their cars using their Apple Watches, if Musk's response to a social media query is any indication. Asked if Tesla would add Apple Watch integration, Musk simply said, “Of course.”
Tesla owners have also requested the addition of live activities to showcase their car's charging progress, but the company has remained tight-lipped about whether the feature will come to fruition.
When it comes to collaborations between Apple and Tesla, it's mainly about improving the user experience. Recently, Apple Podcasts have found their way into Tesla's in-car entertainment system, where Apple Music is also integrated.
However, not everything is easy for Apple and Elon Musk's companies. Last year, Apple ended advertising on X, following Musk's endorsement of an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory posted there.
