While one of these plans offers access to Disney+ Hotstar, the other offers a Netflix subscription. In both cases, the duration of the complementary OTT service is similar to that of the validity of the package. Rs. 869 prepaid recharge comes with Disney+ Hotstar
Airtel has released a new Rs. 9,999. Prepaid plan 869 valid for 84 days. Throughout the duration, the plan offers 2 GB of data per day, along with 100 SMS messages. Additionally, the plan includes unlimited local voice calls. Additional benefits of the recharge plan include a Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription for three months, which provides access to live sports, movies and other exclusive shows on the OTT platform. Users also get several bundled services, including unlimited 5G data for those with compatible devices and subscriptions to RewardsMini, Apollo 24|7 Circle, free Hellotunes and Wink Music.
Rs. 1,499 prepaid recharge offers free Netflix subscription
The company has also launched a new Rs. 1,999. 1,499 prepaid plans with a validity of 84 days. However, it offers 3GB of daily data along with 100 SMS per day. Users also enjoy unlimited local voice calls. This particular plan includes all the benefits of Rs. 869 and replaces the Disney+ Hotstar add-on subscription with a three-month Netflix Basic subscription.
How do the new plans compare to Reliance Jio?
Reliance Jio currently offers a Rs. 999 758 recharge plan. It is valid for 84 days, offers a total data allowance of 126 GB (1.5 FB per day) and allows users to send up to 100 SMS per day. The plan also includes unlimited voice calls. Additional benefits of the plan include a three-month Disney+ Hotstar Mobile subscription. Jio also offers a Rs. 999 808 recharge plan, valid for 84 days, provides 2GB of data per day and offers a three-month subscription to Disney+ Hotstar. Compared to Airtel, Jio's plans offer more flexibility when it comes to the daily amount of data.
Regarding plans with an add-on Netflix subscription, Jio lists two options on its website. The first is priced at Rs. 1,099. It is valid for 84 days and provides 2GB of data every day. The second plan costs Rs. 1,499. It is valid for 84 days and provides 3GB of daily data. Both of these packages include a Netflix subscription for their duration.
