Realme 12+ 5G & Realme 12 5G Go Official in India: Price Starts at INR 16,999،
In January 2024, Realme, one of the leading tech giants, introduced its 12 Pro Number series, unveiling two devices in the country: Realme 12 Pro 5G And Realme 12 Pro+ 5G. Expanding its Realme 12 family, the brand has now introduced two more smartphones. Today, Realme officially announced the launch of Realme 12+ 5G And Realme 12 5G devices in India, targeting the mid-budget category.
These smartphones come in a wide range of vibrant shades and aim to strike the perfect balance between advanced features and affordability. Realme is proud to partner with the iconic Shah Rukh Khan, who will be the face of the Realme 12 lineup, as the brand looks to 2024 as a year of significant evolution. This year, Realme will focus on the mid-range smartphone segment, and this commitment has already started with the introduction of these two new smartphones.

Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 5G: price and availability
Realme 12+ 5G is available in two storage configurations:
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs. 999.20,999
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs. 999.21,999
Realme 12 5G will be available in two storage options:
- 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs. 999. 16,999
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs. 999. 17,999
Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 5G will be retailed via Realme.com, Flipkart and offline channels. The first sale will begin on March 6 at 3 PM IST.
Realme 12+ 5G and Realme 12 5G: Design
Both of these newly launched devices come with flagship-level premium design language. The rear panel houses a large camera module resembling a watch. Realme partnered with Olivier Saveo to come up with the design. The back side has a vegan leather finish while the front side features a punch-hole cutout for a selfie sensor at the top. Realme 12+ as well as Realme 12 have an almost identical design, only with a slight difference in the pattern on the back. Color options are another differentiator between devices.
Realme 12+ 5G comes in Pioneer Green and Navigator Beige shades, while Realme 12 comes in Twilight Purple and Woodland Green shades.
Realme 12+ 5G: Specifications
Realme 12+ 5G flaunts a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2000 nits brightness, HDR10+, 100% P3 color gamut, TUV Rheinland eye protection and a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels. The screen comes with smart rainwater touch technology so that one can easily use the device in all weather conditions. It is powered by a 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It has an Arm Mali G68 MC4 GPU for better graphics during gaming and multitasking.
The device comes with a 3D VC cooling system to deliver better thermal performance and runs Realme UI 5.0 based on Android 14 operating system out of the box. The software comes with additional features such as notification management, game floating window, game network enhancement and Smart Touch optimization.
In terms of camera optics, Realme 12+ features a triple-lens setup on the rear comprising a 50 MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide, and a 2.0 MP macro shooter. MP. The main camera supports optical image stabilization as well as electronic image stabilization for clearer photos and videos. There is also a Snap Portrait system that starts in 0.8 seconds so that the user does not miss a single moment. Three Cinema filters include Journey, Maverick and Memory. On the front is a 16 MP selfie camera.
Under the hood, it gets its juice from a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired fast charging capability. Additional features include Dolby Atmos, dual stereo speakers, antenna array array, Bluetooth, WiFi, 5G, a USB Type-C port, IP54 rating, drop protection architecture, and more. Flash Capsule, Smart Image Matting, File Dock and Microsoft Phone Link complete the package.
Realme 12 5G: Specifications
Realme 12 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6100+5G chipset with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. It sports a 6.72-inch HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2400×1080 pixel resolution, and 91.4% screen-to-body ratio.
In terms of camera, there is a 108 MP Samsung HM6 primary sensor on the back along with 20x digital zoom. Under the hood is a 5,000mAh battery with 45W SuperVOOC fast charging capability.
Dual stereo speakers, the Realme Dynamic button and an all-new driving mode complete the complete experience.
