Nothing Phone 2a Goes Official in India: Starts at INR 23,999،
Nothing, the company founded by Carl Pei, recently revealed its latest addition to its smartphone lineup. Following the success of Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2, the brand launched a budget smartphone called Nothing Phone 2a in the Indian market. This strategic move by Nothing aims to expand its presence and reach out to a wider audience in India. The Nothing Phone 2a promises to offer a harmonious combination of performance, design and affordability. Additionally, the upcoming “Fresh Eyes” event will see the introduction of Buds and Neckband Pro, both under the CMF brand.

Nothing Phone 2a will be available in three storage configurations:
- 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage – Rs. 999.23,999
- 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs. 999.25,999
- 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage – Rs. 999.27,999
It will be sold via Flipkart in black and white tones.
The 2a phone will be available for Rs. 999.19,999 via Flipkart on March 12 only.
Nothing phone 2a: specifications
Nothing Phone 2a is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Pro chipset with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. On the front is a 6.7-inch HD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1,300 nits brightness. The smartphone runs NothingOS 2.5 based on Android 14 and packs a 5,000mAh battery under the hood with 45W wired fast charging capability. Nothing promised three years of Android updates and four years of updates safety day.
Coming to the camera, there is a dual-lens setup on the back. It includes two 50MP sensors. On the front is a 32 MP selfie camera. Nothing Phone 2a will be available in white and black tones. Glyph interface design not only works as a timer but also displays call notifications and messages based on priority. It has the thinnest 2.1mm bezels all around the screen compared to the Nothing Phone 1 which had 2.6mm bezels. The advanced vapor chamber cooling system claims to offer good thermal performance during gaming.
Device features include WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, Dual 5G, linear haptic motor, 360-degree antenna, fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, advanced hotspot, face unlock and hybrid coexistence 2.0. Nothing Phone 2a is rated IP54.
