Samsung's mid-range tablet tier is about to get bigger as the company is now set to announce a new product, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024). Despite its “Lite” name, the tablet won't be that cheap, although the specs aren't that impressive according to the latest reports.

First of all, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) was recently spotted at the FCC (Federal Communications Commission), which means it should be brought to the United States once Samsung makes it official (via 91mobiles).

Thanks to the FCC listing, we now know that the tablet will be powered by a 7,000 mAh battery. We also learned that the slate will feature LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity options.

Previously, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) appeared on Geekbench with an Exynos 1280 processor, 4 GB of RAM and an Android 14 operating system. These specifications have not yet been confirmed, but as they have been listed on various certification platforms and reference aggregators, we can assume that they are quite accurate.

Apart from some of the key specifications of the tablet, we have another source which claims that the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) will be available in two colors: Chiffon Pink and Oxford Grey. Additionally, customers can choose the Wi-Fi only model or the LTE model, depending on their needs and budget.

Regarding the price, Supports claims the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) Wi-Fi only (4/64 GB) will be available for just €429 in Europe, while the cheaper version of the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) LTE (4/64 Go) will cost €459. The slightly upgraded versions of the Wi-Fi only and LTE Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) will sell for €489 (4/128 GB) and €519 (4/128 GB) respectively.

It's unclear when Samsung will make this official, but there's a good chance the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024) will be introduced by the end of March.
