2024 NFL draft: Terrion Arnold gives heartfelt message at combine،
INDIANAPOLIS — Into the no-nonsense, furrowed-brow whirlwind that characterizes the NFL scouting party, Alabama Crimson Tide cornerback Terrion Arnold dropped a million-dollar smile and a message from deep from the heart to his mother.
After Arnold finished his on-field practice at Lucas Oil Stadium on Friday, he turned an interview with NFL Network's Stacey Dales into a moment every parent wants.
After excitedly interrupting his on-field work, Arnold first thanked “Miss Terry,” the wife of former Alabama coach Nick Saban.
There is SO MUCH GOODNESS in this conversation with Terrion Arnold. He breaks down his tape…then sends a POWERFUL message to his incredible mom Tamala. He made me cry… @nflnetwork ❤️ pic.twitter.com/vkSXyh7Bup

“She texted me right before she came here, I told her 'it was like another game,'” Arnold said. “She said 'you should be blessed, you are highly favored' and she said 'get out'. there and give it your all”…Just words of encouragement for her, like old times.”
Dales asked if Arnold wanted to send a message to his mother Tamala and Terrion gave a light word.
“Mom, if you're watching this right now, your son just wanted to tell you how proud he is of you,” Arnold said. “You had me very young and you overcame a lot of adversity. People doubted you, excluded you. And honestly mom, like I always tell you – zoom in here, zoom in – Tamala Arnold, I love you, the whole world is watching you and I'm lucky to have you as my mom. Like I said you've overcome a lot and with that being said I'm going to tell you to keep shining just like you have me were raised to be. I will never forget where I come from, Tallahassee, Florida, it's a tough place to live, everyone watching this at home is proud of me because I given everything.
Arnold added that those watching should be prepared to learn more at the pro day on Alabama's campus.
“Y’all tune into pro day because it’s going to be a spectacle,” he said.
Arnold clocked a 4.50-second 40-yard dash and was a top performer in position drills. He is the No. 17 prospect on Mel Kiper Jr.'s latest Big Board and is expected to be one of the first cornerbacks selected in the NFL Draft.
