Intel Introduces The New vPro Platform For Business-Centric PCs،
At Mobile World Congress, Intel announced the new vPro platform, a combination of technologies built into specific business PCs designed to deliver improved performance, security and stability. The platform leverages the latest Core processors, including the latest Core Ultra, and improves several aspects of a PC's performance.
Intel vPro is a combination of hardware and software features
For example, the Intel vPro platform leverages all the benefits of the latest processors and platform technologies to improve productivity for all users. Users can expect significant gains of up to 47% more in office application productivity compared to a three-year-old PC. Additionally, the vPro platform includes threat detection technology that leverages the new NPU to improve anomaly detection efficiency and reduce power consumption. Additionally, a new Silicon Security Engine authenticates system firmware to help protect against cyber wires.
Intel vPro focuses on productivity, security, manageability and stability
Another tool available to vPro is Device Discover, a new way for cloud-based tools to receive the information they need for required actions. Then there is Device Health, which helps IT organizations get a better view of their fleet patches and provide comprehensive device management. Last but not least, Intel's Stable IT program aims to help IT organizations with seamless operating system transitions, ensuring compatibility with Windows 10 and Windows 11.
“PC AI will fundamentally change the way organizations use their PCs, paving the way for new experiences and levels of productivity for a global workforce,” Intel writes in its official press release. As part of the company's AI PC Acceleration program, more than 300 AI-accelerated features designed specifically for business collaboration “will be uniquely optimized to work best on Intel.”
The platform also leverages Arc Pro GPUs
Regarding graphics performance, the new generation of Arc Pro integrated GPUs offer several features and independent software vendor certifications that are typically available with more expensive graphics cards. With Arc Pro GPUs, users benefit from ray tracing, AI scaling up to 8K, AV1 image compression and streaming, and ISV-certified drivers.
“The enhanced features of Intel Core Ultra processors with available integrated Intel Arc GPUs and 14th Generation Intel Core processors will pave the way for new PC experiences for enterprise, small and medium businesses, government, including the education, and high-tech companies. », Estimates Intel.
