THE Tekken 8 Patch Notes For today February 28, have been revealed. The new Tekken 8 patch, called “1.02.01» is now deployed everywhere PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S systems. Players will be prompted to download and install the new patch before starting the game.
Tekken 8 February 28 update reveals anti-plugging measures

Update scope
Applying the updated data will have the following impact on each mode and feature.
- Downloaded replays and tips for my replays
- Replay data prior to the update will not be available for playback.
- Online replay
- Replay data from before the update will be deleted.

- Character behavior and movement properties will reflect those of the post-update state.

Collaboration
- Collaboration in the game “UT×TEKKEN”
- Customization items featuring the same design as the UT collaboration T-shirts commemorating the 30th anniversary of TEKKEN, sold in UNIQLO stores, will be available for free in the TEKKEN SHOP. These items include customization items for playable characters (2 types) and avatar customization items (1 type).
TEKKEN Shop
- The new “TEKKEN SHOP” feature will be implemented.
- In the TEKKEN SHOP, you can get various customization items such as popular legacy costumes for playable characters and avatar skins for specific characters. We plan to add new categories and articles every month.
- Various items in the TEKKEN SHOP include free and paid items. Paid items can be obtained by spending “TEKKEN COINS” purchased in each platform’s store.
- Measures against players found cheating in a RANKED MATCH
- High-ranking players who have been repeatedly reported cheating have been removed from the LEADERBOARD and their ranking has been reset to BEGINNING.
- Functional improvements.
- In TEKKEN FIGHT LOUNGE, the matchmaking waiting state now continues after completing a match in Match Anywhere without needing to select it again.
- In TEKKEN FIGHT LOUNGE, My Profile can be selected when accessing the personalization store staff or terminal.
- The status of GROUP members in PLAYER MATCH is now displayed.
- The maximum number of consecutive wins displayed has been increased from 99 to 999.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue where some titles were not unlocking through ARCADE QUEST progression. *Affected players will be able to obtain these titles automatically the next time they enter ARCADE QUEST.
- In TEKKEN BALL, fixed an issue that prevented Panda and Leroy from doing a long backward sprint.
- Fixed an issue where in some cases a color not available in Character Customization could be selected when saved in Saved Colors.
- When playing an online match, selecting Rematch and then refusing the opponent sometimes resulted in the game becoming unresponsive for a period of time. However, this issue has been resolved.
- Movement behavior/properties will be adjusted for some characters.
Tekken 8's new update 1.02.01 introduces a fix for one of the game's biggest issues. Bandai Namco Studios is closely monitoring accounts that misuse the game's features and has banned several accounts ahead of the events EVO on Tekken 7.
The issue involved players who were about to win a ranked fight and ran into an error. In fact, the opponents would cut their Internet connection and invalidate the ranked match. The developers have finally implemented fixes to counter Pluggers via this Tekken 8 update as per the patch notes.
