Exclusive: Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 360-Degree Video And 5K Renders; Say Hello to Boxy Aesthetics ،

The Galaxy Z Fold 6, leaks and rumors about the device have been circulating for a while now and yesterday we reported that Samsung might launch the next-generation foldables, Galaxy Ring and Galaxy XR in July. The Galaxy Z Fold 5 was a gradual upgrade over its predecessor and fans are now crossing their fingers for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Following the series of leaks, Smartprix in collaboration with a renowned tipster On leaks, presents to you the exclusive design renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. We managed to show you the 360-degree video and 5K renders of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Let's take a closer look.

360-degree view of the Galaxy Z Fold 6

The design makes, in collaboration with On leaks, reveals the Galaxy Z Fold 6's 360-degree design with completely flat sides, matching the aesthetics of the recently launched Galaxy S24 series. A few seconds into the 360-degree video, we can see the Galaxy Z Fold 6 unfolded in the dark gray color. This could very well be the Color Phantom Black that we are looking at.

Moving further into the video, we can notice that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 has a square frame, which is in line with Samsung's latest flagship S24 series. We can also notice that the phone retains the same ports at the top and bottom, including three microphones and one speaker grill at the top while a USB-C port, another microphone, and one speaker grille basically.

The 3D renders also showcase the new Galaxy S24 Ultra (test) style speaker grill design on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 which resembles what we have on the latest Galaxy S24 series devices. We also have the power button with an integrated fingerprint scanner, the volume rockers to the right, and the SIM card slot to the left of the device.

Comparing it to the Galaxy Z Fold 5 (test), which has a dimension of 154.9 x 129.9 x 6.1mm (unfolded), we can conclude that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is 1.4mm shorter And 2.6mm wider than its predecessor.

Although we were hoping for a more radical change in the design of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung seems to be taking a more gradual approach. Looking at the competition, the OnePlus Open (test) is about as big as the Galaxy Z Fold 6 but is wider and thinner. The CAD-based renders of the Google Pixel Fold 2 that we shared last week are even wider and thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Additionally, since the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is the same thickness as its predecessor (6.1mm), it can be assumed that Samsung is still using the droplet-style hinge. Finally, there is no holder or storage slot for the S Pen on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

Expected Galaxy Z Fold 6 specifications

According to the renders and what we discussed above, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 will have a 6.2-inch cover screen and a 7.6-inch inner screen. This is similar to what we have on the Galaxy Z Fold 5. Both displays will be Dynamic AMOLED and support a 120Hz refresh rate.

While the inner screen will be plastic or ultra-thin glass, as Samsung calls it, the cover screen is expected to have the new Corning Gorilla Glass Armor for protection. We can also expect a higher peak brightness of around 2,600 Nits.

Under the hood, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 is expected to pack the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 For Galaxy chipset, the same one we have on the company's latest flagship series. The phone will also have 12 or 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

As for the cameras, the phone will probably use the same sensors as the Galaxy Z Fold 5. The phone is expected to have a 50 MP + 12 MP + 10 MP camera system on the rear, a 10 MP selfie camera and a 4 MP under-display camera on the inner display.
