Bills’ Dion Dawkins rips Micheal Clemons, Jets: ‘I hate them’،
The rivalry between the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets could reach a new level of nastiness in 2024, thanks to Bills offensive tackle Dion Dawkins, who attacked the Jets and defensive end Micheal Clemons in an interview published last week.
Dawkins, appearing on VladTV, called Clemons a “b—- boy” and accused him of instigating their postgame brawl in the Highmark Stadium tunnel on Nov. 19 after the Bills' 32-6 victory. “Crazy people are weird,” Dawkins said, when asked directly about the fight.
Speaking of the Jets, he said: “I hate them all, bro. … When it comes to sports, there are people who play this sport because they love this sport. And then there are people who simply practice this sport. “To try to be cool. I feel like they're in this sport to try to be cool. It's a bunch of guys who just want to take pictures on Instagram. It's crazy.”

Dawkins said Clemons was talking about quarterback Josh Allen during a televised timeout early in the fourth quarter.
“First of all, why are you talking to my quarterback? Don't talk to my quarterback,” Dawkins said. “Stay there. Don't tell any of my guys. Just stay there, son. Don't talk to 17. I'm really serious about this. Don't talk to him. Don't say anything for him, n 'is this not ? “
After that, Clemons pointed at several individual players on the Bills, called their numbers and swore at them, according to Dawkins, who was furious.

One play later, the Bills ran a running play in which Dawkins moved alongside Clemons. They met face to face and Dawkins knocked him down. Claiming he didn't hear a whistle, Dawkins jumped on Clemons with what he described as a “belly flop.” They both got up and Clemons threw him to the ground. This resulted in an unnecessary roughness penalty for Dawkins and a possible fine.

This made for a heated fourth quarter, setting the stage for the postgame altercation. Dawkins said Clemons followed him into the tunnel but was afraid to challenge him face to face.
“If you want to take on someone, run all the way at someone,” Dawkins said. Don't run and stop 5 meters behind and just start talking. So when he did that, I was like, 'First of all, you really don't want to fight me. You're really a ass—-.'”
No punches were thrown, but Dawkins admitted to pushing Clemons during the skirmish. They were separated by the players.
Clemons never commented on the incident. On Monday, Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner responded to an X-rated post of a video clip of Dawkins' interview with VladTV.
“I play this game because I love it and it takes care of my family,” Gardner said the. “It also gives me a platform to inspire young people. I have no problem with anyone. I didn't know that was a thing until I watched this video.”
The Jets and Bills split the season series, with the Jets winning the season opener in overtime. In that game, they lost quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a season-ending torn Achilles on a sack of Leonard Floyd.
