Microsoft Copilot app can now be your next default assistant app on Android،
Android users currently have many options when it comes to choosing a helper app on their devices. While previously Google Assistant and Bixby ruled the roost, the rise of AI-powered chatbots has seen them evolve into more than just text fields you can use on a browser. While this is a nice addition for Android users, don't expect a completely seamless experience just yet. Currently, enabling Copilot primarily opens the app, meaning it won't immediately start listening like some other assistants, nor will it offer to scan what's on your screen.
However, that doesn't mean this feature won't be as useful as Google Assistant or Bixby currently are, or maybe even Gemini could be. It's still in beta, and Microsoft will likely continue working on the app to make Copilot a truly integrated Android assistant. Microsoft hasn't officially announced this yet, but we believe that by the time it moves to the stable version of the app, more features will be available.
