Nintendo Switch 2 Release Date Window Gets Update،
We talked very little about the next one Nintendo Switch successor, at least in an official capacity. However, it is possible that the next-gen hybrid console could arrive within a year. Or it could be pushed back further.
We may be expecting a solid launch lineup
A recent report from the Japanese website Nikkei (as translated by Eurogamer) suggests that the Switch 2 could be looking at a March 2025 release. But there has also been speculation that Nintendo could delay it even further.
It was originally thought that the Switch follow-up could possibly arrive this year. However, it is now estimated to launch in March, according to this latest report.
One of the main reasons for this delay would be due to the fact that Nintendo wants to wait for the release of a rich lineup of games, ready for the console's release.
Not much is known about the new console. In fact, there doesn't seem to be any official word on whether or not this will be a hybrid system similar to the current model. It has, however, been suggested that the elusive Switch 2 could sport an 8-inch screen.
Released in 2017, it definitely feels like the Nintendo Switch is fast approaching the end of its life cycle. Succeeding where the Wii U had failed, Nintendo's new console offered a mix of home and portable games, with huge hits like Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.
We can't say with certainty when the Switch's successor will emerge. All we can really hope is that Nintendo makes some sort of announcement, especially with all of this speculation going around.
