If you’re not satisfied with Genshin Impact on the Galaxy S24, there’s a fix،
To all Galaxy S24 owners who are fans of Genshin Impact: do you feel like something is wrong with the way the game runs on your brand new flagship?
If you used Samsung's Game Booster app to boost Genshin Impact, you probably didn't get the results you were looking for.
The Game Booster comes in handy for avid gamers, allowing them to adjust various settings to improve the overall gaming experience. One of the most important functions of Game Booster is to optimize performance and battery life by monitoring device temperatures and power consumption through the use of what Samsung calls the Game Optimization Service (GOS), we read in the press release. SamMobile report.
Game Booster's automatic optimization is fine for the majority of gamers, but here's the problem: it also prevents Samsung Galaxy phones from delivering the absolute best performance in certain games because it controls temperatures and battery life by limiting the CPU and GPU.
The gaming community criticized Samsung, prompting the Korean giant to add an alternative gaming performance management system that was less aggressive in throttling the CPU and GPU and allowed the game to run at frame rates higher for longer.
On the Galaxy S24 series, however, Genshin Impact and Samsung's GOS did not get along. Many users were stunned to discover that Genshin Impact was running the same frame rate regardless of whether GOS was on or off. Samsung recently acknowledged this bug, and it appears the company already has a fix in place and included it in the latest update of the Game Booster app.
The report states that the update is available on the Galaxy Store, although it appears to be limited to very few markets at the moment. This will change in the coming days, and it is possible Galaxy S24S24+ and S24 Ultra need to upgrade their phone to the latest firmware before the Game Booster app update patch becomes available.
