iPhone 15 owners at wits end about pesky issue updates haven’t been able to solve،
Since ios 17 I have frequent disconnections in my car (no carplay. BMW 2014) bluetooth for calls. I make a hands-free call in my car and after a few seconds the Bluetooth disconnects and I have to manually switch to my Iphone speaker. I have had this car since it was new and I change iPhones almost every year and usually version x.0 has some Bluetooth issues, but now 2 major versions for iOS 17 and the problem is not resolved. Another iPhone 12 has no problem in my car.” – Octavius8
Me too. I have problems with both cars VW Tiguan 2018, Ford Maverick 2023 and my hearing aids. iPhone 15PM 17.3.1″ – Bigtree
I also had issues with my iPhone 15PM and AirPods Pro 2 (Lightning). I use my Airpods as my primary work headset, and the headset often disconnects about 10 minutes into the call, switches to the iPhone speaker for a few seconds, then reconnects and switches back. Very boring! I didn't think anything of it, but now I see it's a more common problem.” – Christopher Kim
It appears that the problem has been present since the range was released in late September and has persisted since then. iPhone15 Owners say the device won't stay connected to in-car systems and headphones.
The Bluetooth connection drops randomly, leading to a frustrating experience for anyone in the middle of a call or listening to audio through their headphones. Sometimes the connection is not even established.
The majority of complaints come from iPhone15 owners, many of them saying they didn't have this problem on older models. Commonly recommended fixes do not seem to work. Some customers were able to obtain their iPhone15 and 15 Pro replaced, indicating that it may be a hardware issue and an update alone cannot fix it. Others were told an update would fix the issue and one user said the issue went away recently, but that's not the case for everyone.
Until recently, I was experiencing connectivity issues between my iPhone 15 Pro and my AirPods. My connection would disappear for 5-10 seconds. I assumed this was related to the high voltage power lines located near the trail I am walking on. The other day I noticed that I no longer have this problem. I assumed an iOS or firmware update had fixed the problem. ” – markgpearse
after two days without disconnecting, it started again.” – alija99
I have an iPhone 14 Pro and have had this same problem since iOS17. It's not just for newbies. » -Emlarsen
Regardless, it's a frustrating question, especially because iOS 17 has been missing for some time and the problem has not been resolved. Hopefully, Apple will get to the root of the problem soon and provide more clarity as well as a permanent solution to it.
