Major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon are down Thursday morning

US wireless providers are down Thursday morning according to DownDetector. The latter's website shows that it has received complaints from subscribers of AT&T, Cricket, Verizon and T-Mobile complaining about the service outage. AT&T's FirstNet service for first responders is also affected. In some areas, 911 service is available to cell phone users. The outages all started at the same time, approximately just before 5 a.m. ET (2 a.m. Pacific Time).

On DownDetector, the number of complaints received about lack of service from AT&T subscribers increased from 11 at 3:18 a.m. ET to more than 32,000 at 4:33 a.m. 56% of complaints were due to problems with subscribers' mobile phone service, 35% reported they had no signal and 8% could not access mobile Internet.
