Nikon has launched the ‘Z f’ full-frame mirrorless camera in India. It comes with the EXPEED 7 image processing engine, has a 24.5 MP CMOS sensor, and can record in 10-bit H.265 format. The price of the camera starts at Rs. 9,999. 1,76,995 in the country, and the sale begins on October 12, 2023.

The Nikon Z f has a 24.5 MP CMOS sensor (35.9 x 23.9 mm, FX format), which can click still images in multiple formats, including JPEG, NEF, NEF + JPEG, HEIF and NEF + HEIF. Regarding the focus points, the Nikon Z f mirrorless camera offers 299 focus points in single-point autofocus mode.
The camera’s ISO sensitivity ranges from ISO 100 to 64,000. The shutter speed, on the other hand, can range from 1/8000 to 30 seconds. Exposure compensation ranges from -3 to +3 EV (-5 to +5 EV when the exposure compensation dial is set to [c]). Color temperature ranges from 2500K to 10000K.
For recording videos, the camera supports 4K UHD resolution at 60 frames per second in DX crop (with a slightly lower field of view). Full-frame video recording capabilities are limited to 4K UHD at 30 frames per second, while FHD videos can go up to 120 frames per second. Supported codecs include H.265/H.264 10-bit, N-Log/HLG.
To monitor recording and change other settings, users are provided with a 3.2-inch vari-angle TFT touchscreen. You also get a 0.5-inch OLED electronic viewfinder with color balance and 13-level manual brightness controls. The battery in the box provides a maximum recording time of up to 125 minutes.
