Samsung and Batteries Plus team up for faster Galaxy smartphone repairs in the US،
Samsung has more than 2,000 authorized care centers in the United States, with the company claiming to cover more than 80 percent of the population and saying its repairs are typically completed in two hours or less. The Korean tech giant is now expanding its reach even further with a new collaboration in the United States.
Samsung Electronics America and Batteries Plus are expand their partnership provide more accessible warranty walk-in service for Galaxy smartphone repairs (via Android titles). By this fall, 35 Batteries Plus stores will become Samsung Authorized Service Centers (ASCs), catering to customers who prefer in-person phone repairs rather than mailing them.
Batteries Plus joined Samsung’s Independent Service Provider (ISP) program in 2018, primarily handling out-of-warranty repairs. Now, these 35 stores will expand their services to cover warranty repairs and a wider range of device types, including foldables like the latest Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.
Technicians at these locations will undergo extensive Samsung-certified training, ensuring the highest standards of quality device repairs. This expansion of the partnership is part of Samsung’s mission to bring convenient, fast and quality repair options to a wider audience.
